Apply for this visa if you currently have a job or job offer with an accredited employer, and have worked in New Zealand for 24 months in a Green List Tier 2 in-demand job.
Working Holiday Extension Work Visa
If you are on a working holiday visa, and
have worked in the viticulture or horticulture industries for at least 3
months, you can apply to stay in New Zealand for another 3 months.
Victims of Family Violence Resident Visa
You can apply for this visa if you have experienced family violence and have been in a partnership with a New Zealand citizen or resident. It allows you to live and work in New Zealand permanently.

visa is for students or trainees wanting to get practical work
experience in their field. This can include, but is not limited to,
religious trainees, dental or medical trainees and apprentice jockeys.
Super Yachts Visitor Visa
This visa is for owners and crew of super yachts travelling to New Zealand. It allows you to stay or travel in and out of New Zealand for up to 6 months.
Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa
You can submit an expression of interest if you have a job or job offer from an accredited employer, and qualify for 6 points for your skills and work in New Zealand.

Primary Sector Trainees Work Visa
People from Chile and South Korea can do vocational study and
take up work placements in primary sector industries in New Zealand. To
apply, you must be supported or funded by your government and intend to return home after your training to share your new skills.

You can travel in and out of New Zealand on a private plane or yacht for up to 6 months on this visa.
Recognised Seasonal Employer Limited Visa

Parent Boost Visitor Visa
You can apply for this visa if you have children who are New Zealand citizens or residents. It allows you to travel in and out of New Zealand to visit your family.
Parent Retirement Resident Visa
Apply for this visa if you want to live in New Zealand permanently and you have an adult child who is a New Zealand citizen or resident. You must meet our income and investment requirements.
Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa
You
can apply for this visa if you have children or grandchildren who are
New Zealand citizens or residents. It allows you to travel in and out of New Zealand to visit your family.
Partner of a Student Work Visa
Apply
for this visa to work in New Zealand if your partner is studying for an
eligible level 7 or 8 qualification, or a level 9 or 10 qualification
on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF).
Pathway Student Visa
You can study up to 3 courses, 1 after the other, on this visa. You must have a Pathway Student Visa offer of place and the funds to pay for your tuition fees and living costs.
Permanent Resident Visa
You
can apply for this visa if you have had a resident visa for more than 2
years. This visa lets you live in New Zealand permanently, and travel in and out of the country.
Occupational Registration Visitor Visa
Apply
for this visa if you want to come to New Zealand to get your New
Zealand occupational registration. You can also apply if you are already
in New Zealand, have applied for residence, and need more time to obtain your occupational registration.

This visa is now closed. You can only apply for this visa if you have already held a Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa and you are waiting for a decision on your resident visa application.

If you have a Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa and have worked in New Zealand for more than 2 years, you may be able to apply for this resident visa.
Investor 2 Resident Visa
This visa allowed business people with at least NZD $3 million in funds or assets to submit an expression of interest and then apply for residence. It closed to new applicants on 28 July 2022.

you are a parent or legal guardian of a child who is in New Zealand on a
student visa, you can apply for this visa to live with and care for your child.

You can apply for this visa if you hold a Business Investor Work Visa and
have been actively running a business in New Zealand for at least 12
months or 3 years, depending on how much you have invested.
